We strictly enforce the following measures in all classrooms:

  • All children and staff who show symptoms of illness are required to stay home until they are symptom-free for 24 hours.
  • All classrooms are regularly cleaned, sanitized, and disinfected, including frequently touched toys, surfaces, and other objects.
  • Staff and children are required to wash their hands multiple times throughout the day to stop the spread of germs.
  • All crib sheets, washable toys, and blankets are laundered weekly.

Yes. Our team provides USDA-approved meals and snacks at the following times:

Berne Academy’s teachers stay in contact with parents through our ProCare application. This app allows us to send direct updates to parents about their child’s progress and well-being. We can also send photos of their child throughout the day, giving parents a clear view of the different activities that their child is engaging in.

Our enrollment process starts with parents filling out a registration form for every child they wish to enroll. We then provide a guided tour of the facility and more information about the routines of the class that their child will be in. We also give a detailed list of everything their child will need for the day. At the end of the tour, we take the time to answer any questions that parents may have.
