Teachers routinely update the app with their child’s daily activities, progress through the day, and photos and messages keeping parents in the loop. Southwest Academies accepts infants from 4 weeks to twelve months in our Infant Care Program.
Every classroom has its own unique schedule based around a curriculum appropriate for that age range. We also include designated meal times to ensure that all students get the proper nutrition they need to remain engaged throughout the day. Nap times are also coordinated across all classes to create a calm and restful environment for each student.
Southwest Academies only uses the most proven practices and upholds high safety and health standards for all of our programs. When it comes to our infant rooms, we ensure that we have a safe child-educator ratio. This allows every child to get the care they need and allows our staff to handle any issues as soon as they arise.
We also disinfect and sanitize the rooms daily, along with toys and frequently touched surfaces to stop the spread of germs. We also ask that all parents keep their children home if they are showing any symptoms of illness. The child must remain at home until they are 24 hours symptom-free.
