Safety is our number one priority at Southwest Academies. We take the time to ensure that each of our classrooms follow rigorous health and safety standards that meet all state regulations. From cleanliness to emergency preparedness, we have built a supportive environment that allows your little one to thrive.

  • Requiring any child or staff member who is displaying symptoms of illness to stay home until they are 24 hours free of symptoms.
  • Regular sanitation and disinfecting of frequently used toys, surfaces, and other objects.
  • Requiring staff and children to wash their hands multiple times throughout the day.
  • Weekly laundering of crib sheets, washable toys, and blankets.

Teachers routinely update the app with their child’s daily activities, progress through the day, and photos and messages keeping parents in the loop. Frequently Asked Questions

Southwest Academies accepts infants from 4 weeks to twelve months in our Infant Care Program.

Every classroom has its own unique schedule based around a curriculum appropriate for that age range. We also include designated meal times to ensure that all students get the proper nutrition they need to remain engaged throughout the day. Nap times are also coordinated across all classes to create a calm and restful environment for each student.

Southwest Academies only uses the most proven practices and upholds high safety and health standards for all of our programs. When it comes to our infant rooms, we ensure that we have a safe child-educator ratio. This allows every child to get the care they need and allows our staff to handle any issues as soon as they arise.

We also disinfect and sanitize the rooms daily, along with toys and frequently touched surfaces to stop the spread of germs. We also ask that all parents keep their children home if they are showing any symptoms of illness. The child must remain at home until they are 24 hours symptom-free.
